Something About Us...

We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and its Rocky Mountain Synod located in the Northeast Heights of Albuquerque.  A list of worship services, programs and ministries, and staff are available.  Simply click on the appropriate button in the table of contents to the left.

Our Ministries...

There is something for everyone at St. Luke.  Our worship, traditionally Lutheran, uses a variety of musical and liturgical styles.  Our youth program stimulates growth in faith and provides opportunities for wholesome fun.  Our preschool and kindergarten offer quality education for young children.  Classes for all ages on Sundays and during the week are Bible-based.  Among these ministries are...
  • Three different worship services on Saturdays and Sundays

  • Wednesday night Confirmation program for 7th and 8th graders

Saturday... 5:00 pm in the Church - An informal liturgy with hymns led by an instrumental ensemble

Sunday... 8:00 am in the Church – A spoken liturgy with music for meditation and a closing hymn

Sunday... 10:15 am in the Church – A classic liturgy with music led by a pipe organ and choir

The Lord’s Supper is shared at all our weekend liturgies

Holden Evening Prayer
December 3, 10, 17, 7 PM, in the Nave. Join us for a lovely and simple evening prayer service in the sanctuary.

Advent Potluck Luncheon
Saturday, December 6 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM In the Fellowship Hall. All women are invited! Enjoy fellowship and a program on religious art. Childcare will be provided.

Rite of Healing

God's Work-Out Hands Advent Event
Sunday, December 14 at 11:30 AM, after the 10:15 service

Christmas Eve Services on Wednesday, Dec 24
5:00 PM: A special family celebration with Christmas carols
7:30 PM: Christmas hymns sang with the orchestra and choir
10:00 PM: Quiet celebration with Christmas hymns
