Something About Us...

We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and its Rocky Mountain Synod located in the Northeast Heights of Albuquerque.  A list of worship services, programs and ministries, and staff are available.  Simply click on the appropriate button in the table of contents to the left.

Our Ministries...
There is something for everyone at St. Luke.  Our worship, traditionally Lutheran, uses a variety of musical and liturgical styles.  Our youth program stimulates growth in faith and provides opportunities for wholesome fun.  Our preschool and kindergarten offer quality education for young children.  Classes for all ages on Sundays and during the week are Bible-based.  Among these ministries are...
  • Three different worship services on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Christian Education for children, youth, and adults 
  • Weekday Preschool and Kindergarten
  • Wednesday night Confirmation program for 7th and 8th graders
  • Youth activities for elementary, mid-school, and high school youth
  • Choral and handbell groups for adults and youth

Worship Times

 

Saturday... 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall - Informal service with contemporary music and band

Sunday... 8:00 am in the Courtyard from Memorial Day week-end through Labor Day week-end. Singing the "Now the Feast and Celebration" liturgy, it is a beautiful summer experience each week.

Sunday... 10:15 am in the Sanctuary - Complete liturgy of Holy Communion

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered at all three Worship Services
COMING UP...

 

RAINBOW TRAIL DAY CAMP - our Vacation Bible School - will occur June 16-20.  The counselors from Rainbow Trail will be here to lead the week-long experience for the children.  Contact the Church Office for further information and to register your child(ren).  Registration forms are also available in the "Horizon" Newsletter.  We could use your help with Day Camp too.  Check the "Horizon." 

CHECK OUT the Social Ministry Forums each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Zuni Room of the Administration Building.  There will be many topics of interest and concern.

SERMONS ARE AVAILABLE every week on this website.  Both an audio version and a printed version of the past Sunday's sermon are available for download.  You can listen to sermons on your computer or download them to an iPod.  Just click on "Sermons"  here or in the menu to the left.
